WORLD’S LONGEST PUTT RECORD SET WITH BETTINARDI PUTTER
Tinley Park, IL – Bettinardi Golf, maker of the world’s finest precision-milled putters for over 25 years, collaborated with the World’s Longest Putt (WLP) Championship held at The Baths of Blackwolf Run in Kohler, Wisconsin.
The WLP Championship is a new putting competition and charity fundraiser open to all golfers at qualifying locations nationwide. Local qualifiers advance to regionals, and those regional winners advance to the World’s Longest Putt Championship.
Hosted on September 25-26, the 2023 WLP Finals showcased Midwest golfers competing for the World’s Longest Putt title. With a Bettinardi putter Queen B 11, Mike Born secured the 2023 WLP Championship by putting it twice to within five feet of the final 400-foot pin. Born was awarded a Bettinardi Golf gift package to celebrate his win.
Following the conclusion of the WLP Finals, several competitors attempted to break the Guinness World Record for Longest Putt. On his final putt of the day, Jay Stocki sank a 401.26-foot putt and established a new world record for the longest golf putt (non-tournament). This Guinness World Record was set with Stocki's custom-fit Bettinardi Queen B 11.
In preparation for the WLP Finals, Stocki was fit for his putter in the state-of-the-art fitting bays at Bettinardi's new Studio B in Oak Brook, Illinois.

While Bettinardi putters have won over 100 professional tournaments, this is their first victory of this kind.

The 2024 WLP Finals are scheduled for Oct. 7, 2024, at The Baths of Blackwolf Run.

About The World's Longest Putt
The World's Longest Putt is golf’s newest premier event. Golfers of all skill levels can compete in qualifying events at courses and charity events nationwide. Qualifying event winners are then able to compete at regional events held across the country. Regional event winners are then invited to the finals at Destination Kohler in October of each year.
