Happ’s love for the game of golf was instilled in him from a young age through his father Keith, a senior agronomist for the USGA and board member of the First Tee of Pittsburgh. Although baseball has always been his true calling, golf is an integral part of Ian’s life. Happ grew up playing golf in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he developed his lifelong passion for the game. Happ currently plays to a 2 handicap and has aspirations of testing his game in off-season amateur events.
